19. down home in da dam

woke up one day. looked around and saw that the kitchen neeed a bit of work.



went over to sit on the couch and looked out the window.




decided that even though it was necessary to have the light on during the day, the decision had been made to step outside.




in the bright grey daylight, reflections are enhanced by the wetted surfaces.




old cars crowd agains the canals, jostling for the best view.




the landscape changes as stuff moves through it.




take aim on a large format and line up the little men behind the window.




the eagle landed and with chicklings nestles along side the canal all stoney and polished.





when the background canvas is duller, bright colours have a big impact as seen here perched gently on a wall.



in the canal, boats own the neighbourhood.



and the sticker fiends bring subconscious perceptions to the surface, one frame at a time in the faces of the riders flashing past.

as a destination, the video shop represents comfort and stability. once the videos were dropped off it was time to race the rain back home and to do the washing up.
